Mission

FCX is the travel arm of the Barrington Area Soccer Association (BASA). FCX provides comprehensive, professional training for players who arecommitted to improving their level of play while enjoying themselves. We pride ourselves on only utilizing coaches who have extensive experience and qualifications and are always looking to improve their knowledge of the game.

It is hoped these high standards will spread amongst our players as well and will enable them to develop a desire for higher achievement not only in soccer but also in education, citizenship, and physical and mental fitness. It is our goal at FCX to develop the best players and teams possible and provide the most driven players in soccer the opportunity to excel to the highest levels of which they are capable.

Offered Programs

	BASA Recreational: The primary objective of the Recreational program is to enable players to learn the game of soccer in a fun and stimulating environment. The focus is on developing their skills to help them be the best soccer players they can be, while maintaining a healthy approach to competitive soccer. Find out more here...
	FCX (U8-14): The FCX SC program takes players through all phases of competitive soccer development. Beginning at U8, players are exposed to the skills necessary to achieve success in all phases of the game. The program is guided by a curriculum set by the Directors of Coaching that has proven to develop talented players capable of performing at the next level. Find out more here...
	FCX (High School) The FCX program participates in tournaments and leagues both within the Midwest and Nationally. Players are routinely recruited by Division I, II and III and NAIA colleges. The program is the highest competitive level within BASA and has developed success in the past 5 years due in large part to the quality of the Recreational and travel programs philosophy, coaching and curriculum.
